This 2019 Petite Fleur Blend is a serious wine, which is 42% Malbec, 40% Merlot, 10% Syrah and 8% Cabernet Sauvignon from their estate vineyards in Vista Flores. It fermented at a controlled temperature after a five-day cold maceration with manual pigéage. Malolactic was in barrel, and 70% of the wine matured in second and third use barriques for 12 months while the rest was kept unoaked. The wine feels very integrated—the different varieties and also the oak with the fruit. It has very nice balance and harmony and really represents the place, warm and stony, with a special elegance.
