In Langhe today, it is rare to find Dolcetto in a single plot, much more frequently it is spread across the less favorable areas of vineyards cultivated with other, more profitable varieties. Our Dolcetto has been growing in the same place since 1969, years in which Dolcetto was the main grape for the survival of a winery. Seen as a cru, the Pian Balbo vineyard perfectly expresses the features of Dolcetto di Langa.
Purple red with violet edges. Delicate nose, aromas of cherry, plum, almond notes, and spices. In the mouth, ripe fruit flavors, fine tannins, and great vinosity. A traditional Piedmontese wine perfect with Italian-style pasta.
